Tower Climbs

Climb our Tower After being shut for most of the last 4 years we're delighted that the Tower reopened for visitors to climb on Saturday 13th April 2024.  Watch our promotional video. There are two ways to go up the Tower, a Tower on the Hour climb and a Tour.

Peregrine Drop-In Sessions

Join our resident peregrine experts for a series of drop-in sessions to learn all about our peregrines. They will be set-up on College Green, watching the birds as they come and go from the nest, and sharing their vast knowledge of this incredible species.

The Summer Series of recitals will resume from 18 April onwards. Recitals take place on Thursdays at 12.15pm. Admission is free with donations welcomed at a retiring collection. Outdoor Worship 2024

WORSHIP IN THE GARDEN: meeting with God in creation Starting in January, Worcester Cathedral will be launching a new, monthly service of worship. What makes it a little unusual is that it will not take place inside the cathedral. Instead, we will be outside, come rain or shine. SACRED GARDEN: engaging with God in creation through creativity Sacred Garden is a new monthly event that Worcester Cathedral is launching for people who feel God’s presence when they’re out in nature.

Living Gently on the Earth 2024

The Cathedral Eco Group invites you to join a series of free events that aim to help us learn how to live more gently on the earth. Thanks to National Lottery Funding secured by the Eco Group, we will be hosting these events for the whole community to come together and explore ways to live a more eco-friendly lifestyle. Explore faith, cooking, gardening, money matters, shopping and more... These events include a Big Green Family Fair in October in the Cathedral's medieval cloisters, for the whole family to come together, browse a range of eco-friendly crafts and produce and enjoy a green day out together!

Young Voices New Visions Exhibition

Young Voices New Visions is an annual exhibition showcasing the artistic talent of young people from across Worcestershire. The artwork presented has been created by local schools, individuals and community groups.

The Music of Elton John by Candlelight

Elton John by Candlelight comes to Worcester Cathedral! Featuring a cast of West End singers and epic live band, experience the hits of Rock Legend Elton John as you have never heard them before! This incredible show features some of the most iconic songs of all time including ‘I’m Still Standing’, ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’, Candle in the Wind’, ‘Bennie and the Jets’ and many more performed at Worcester Cathedral by candlelight. So, grab your ‘Rocket Man’ and book now to hear ‘Your Song’ because missing this show is a ‘Sacrifice’ that you won’t want to make!

Three Choirs Festival 2024

Join us here in Worcester for the 2024 Three Choirs Festival. The Three Choirs Festival is a week-long programme of world-class music making, featuring choral and orchestral concerts, solo and chamber music recitals, talks, cathedral services, theatre, exhibitions, and walks, rotating each summer between the beautiful English cathedral cities of Gloucester, Hereford, and Worcester. One of the elements which makes the festival so special is the Festival Chorus, which is made up of auditioned singers from the local area trained by professional directors, meaning that the Chorus both sings to a high standard and is a real part of the community. Three Choirs is thought to be the longest-standing classical music festival in the world and celebrated its 300th anniversary in 2015.
