Tours of Worcester Cathedral
can be tailored to your own requirements. We can offer bespoke tours for groups and individuals that can be prebooked all year round, through the Cathedral Chapter office, or you are can simply 'Turn up for a Tour' at 11am or 2.30pm, Monday to Saturday from May to the end of October. From November to April, 'Turn up for a Tour' is on Saturdays only.
We can arrange, by prior booking, a tour of the ancient Library, Bell tower, Upper Reaches (Behind the scenes) or our working Mason's yard, prices for these tours are on request.
Turn up for a Tour 
Our trained Cathedral guides conduct general guided tours of the Cathedral at 11.00am and 2.30pm on Saturday's during the winter and spring months (November to April). In the summer and autumn, tours start at the same times, 11.00am and 2.30pm, but are held Monday to Saturday.
Tours last an hour.
Turn up for a Tour Charges: Tickets cost £3.00 (accompanied children are free) and can be bought at the Cathedral Gift Shop in the cloister. The tours start outside the shop.
Group Guided Tours
If you wish to bring a group to Worcester Cathedral, our trained guides can provide general or specialist tours. Tours can be tailored to your requirements.
Group guides tours generally last 1 hour or 1 and a half hours, to suit the group.
 Our specialist group tours can include:
Cathedral Architecture, The Civil War, The Cathedral Monuments, The stained glass windows, Cathedral Music, The Missericords, Pilgrimages & Famous People (King John, Prince Arthur, Sir Edward Elgar, Sir Stanley Baldwin, Woodbine Willie, The Duke of Hamilton, St Wulfstan & St Oswald, to name but a few.)
Group Guided Tours Charges:
The cost of a pre booked tour of the Cathedral is £4.00 for adults, £3.50 concessions.
Other Charges:
Group Guided Tours for young people
Our Education Officer, Sue Adeney will be pleased to discuss and arrange a tour of the Cathedral for children or students (of school age). The cost is £1.50 per person.
Unguided Group Visits
We welcome groups to visit the cathedral, however we recommend booking as we have lots of services and events happening throughout the week, many which are unpublished and that you may wish to avoid or just be aware of. We can advise you of the best time to visit and also offer you the opportunity to prebook refreshments for your group.
Unguided Group Visit Charges:
£3.00 per person for adults. Included in this cost is a free Walk Around Guide
