Guild of BenefactorsGoB_Cover.jpg

Throughout its history, the Cathedral has been sustained by the generosity of people who have supported its architectural development; its music and worship; and its education and work in the community.

A regular gift is one of the most valuable ways that you can support Worcester Cathedral and play an important part in preserving it for future generations. You can become a Benefactor by making an annual gift of from £250 for individuals, or from £400 for a family.

To express our gratitude for your support, each year we will invite you to attend a special service and reception, and you will receive free membership of the Friends of Worcester Cathedral, with invitations to their social events, lectures and visits. You will also receive a complimentary copy of the beautifully illustrated guidebook of Worcester Cathedral.

Please click here for the Guild of Benefactors leaflet and Donation Form. To discuss your gift, please telephone us on 01905 732912 or email:

Making a tax efficient gift to Worcester Cathedral

Donations by individuals to Worcester Cathedral are tax free. †There are many ways that you can make a gift: †through Gift Aid; straight from your wages or pension through a Payroll Giving scheme; land, property and shares; and in your Will.

Donating through Gift Aid means that the Cathedral can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give. It won't cost you any extra and all you have to do is complete the Gift Aid Declaration and return it to us. †If you pay tax at the higher or additional rate, you can claim the difference between the rate you pay and basic rate on your donation.
